New Now is/was a online music show and live gig series, founded by Andy Johnson, Daniel Riley Skjelsbaek and myself. We intended it as a showcase for the local music scene in Liverpool, which we feel is sorely underrated. The concept was we would have two acts play back to back at the Toxteth TV studio; these sets would be filmed, edited, and posted online, interspersed with interviews and skits. The first show starred Centrefold and Skjelsbaek (Daniel's band). By all accounts, and removed from the immediate stresses, the show went very well. That being said, we've struggled with schedules and financing for future episodes so the project remains on ice right now.
