I was approached by the producers of We Weren't Innocent; We Were Girls to create the key art and flyer for their play. Their requests were to hit the centre point between "horror" and "girlypop".
My inspiration came from the aesthetic of art collective Guerilla Girls with their use of large Futura typeface and the bold, yellow covers of Italian giallo novels.
